Local Green Points unveils ‘Food Waste Challenge’

Local Green Points, provider of resident engagement services for waste and recycling, has announced its new product, ‘Food Waste Challenge’, which aims to provide local authorities with a ‘cutting-edge’ approach to reducing food waste. The organisation explained that the Food Waste Challenge, which engages residents in positive food waste behaviours such as using up leftovers, is being rolled out to residents in the London borough of Havering from July 2017, followed by Waltham Forest and Kingston, with other councils expected to follow.
