How Effective will the UK’s APD Tax for Non-Economy Passengers be for sustainable behaviour change?
In the Spring 2024 budget, the UK government announced that it would increase the APD for all passengers in line with inflation, however on 1st April 2025, the standard rate will incur an additional £20 charge on Band B flights and £22 for Band C flights.
