A Year of Action: Key Milestones for Climate Impact 2025

Sustainability is about taking action for a better tomorrow, and in 2025, action defined our impact:

  • 92,400 members engaged across 50+ clients.
  • 4.6 million+ sustainable actions taken.
  • 4.6 million+ minutes of exercise logged.
  • £9,500+ donated to charity.

These achievements are more than just numbers—they represent healthier lives, stronger communities, and a shared commitment to tackling climate change.

Member Behaviour Change: Small Habits, Big Results

We surveyed over 1,600 programme members to understand how their habits have changed. The results were clear:

  • 95% said sustainability actions are now part of their routine.
  • 84% are more aware of their consumption and have taken steps to change.
  • 79% are more conscious of how to reduce their energy use.

These changes show that with the right support and incentives, long-term behaviour change is achievable.

Climate Impact in Numbers: What We Helped Avoid

Through platform activities, Team Jump members helped avoid:

  • 2.7 million kg CO₂e
  • 2.8 million kWh electricity
  • 195 million litres of water
  • 643 tonnes of waste
  • 3.7 million miles travelled sustainably.

The reductions in kWh are are equivalent to powering 270,000 homes for a day, reductions in CO₂e are equivalent to growing 44,000 tree seedlings for a year, and the waste reductions are equivalent to taking 25 bin lorries off the road.

Highlight: Derbyshire Councils’ Green Rewards Programme

One of our standout collaborations in 2025 was with Derbyshire Councils. We co-developed a new Green Home Guide: an interactive e-learning module encouraging residents to adopt greener habits.

Supported by the Midlands Net Zero Hub and funded by Innovate UK, this tool helped residents earn rewards while learning how to insulate their homes, reduce water use, and cut energy waste.

University Hospitals Plymouth: NHS Staff Leading the Way

In another brilliant success, University Hospitals Plymouth saw 10% of their full-time workforce sign up to our programme. In just one year, their members logged over 20,000 actions—reducing emissions by 120,000 kg CO₂e. That’s equivalent to driving 886,000 kilometres!

This result highlights how engaging NHS staff in sustainability not only supports organisational goals but also enhances workplace wellbeing.

Mindful Tech Challenge: Rethinking Digital Habits

In Q4, we ran the Mindful Tech Challenge: a time-limited campaign focused on reducing the environmental footprint of our digital lives. Members responded with enthusiasm:

  • 96% changed how they use digital tools.
  • 95% increased knowledge of AI and e-waste.
  • 44,000 kg CO₂e was avoided from the campaign alone.

This challenge shows how gamification and education can drive awareness and real impact around emerging sustainability issues.

The Power of Collaboration: The Net Zero Challenge

The Net Zero Challenge brings multiple organisations together under a shared mission. In 2025, this collective action led to:

  • 79,000 kg CO₂e avoided
  • 48,000+ kWh electricity saved
  • 130,000+ miles travelled sustainably.

This approach allows even smaller organisations to be part of something bigger, accelerating their progress towards net zero with community support and shared resources.
